Within the framework of the priority action plan for the future of Wallonia, adopted on the 30th of August 2005 by the Government, the Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency was entrusted with additional responsibilities and resources with the aim of encouraging the development and international visibility of the five Wallonia competitiveness clusters, labelled in July and October 2006.
The integration of these Clusters into the broad lines developed by the agency involved in particular a sector approach to the prospecting of foreign investors through the appointment of experts with a broad knowledge of the sectors of the clusters, both in Wallonia and abroad.
This recruitment of sector experts is now completely finalised thanks to the recent appointment of the expert for the agri-food sector. Each competitiveness cluster now has its expert, namely :
