Belgium has again been singled out for an honour at the Mipim in Cannes, taking home four awards this year. Three awards were thus given to the Assar architectural bureau and the special Jury prize was awarded to “Square” of A2RC Architects.

Assar was awarded a prize in the Business Centre category with the GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals –Odyssey W23 building in Wavre, another award was given in the renovated office buildings category with the Brussels general headquarters of the Stib, and finally, a third was awarded in the ecological constructions category with the Solaris, a Herpain Urbis promotion entered into the Fidentia portfolio and also located in Brussels.

A2RD was awarded for the Square Brussels Meeting Centre, the Brussels Convention Centre, which was reviewed and corrected.
